Le Hantle Distributions respects your data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the control you have over it.

1. Who we are
Le Hantle Distributions, based in Maseru, Lesotho, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our digital products. Contact us at lehatledistributions@gmail.com for any privacy matter.
2. What we collect and why
- Account data — name, email address and login credentials (or your Google sign-in identity). Used to create and secure your account and give you access to your library. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Order and entitlement data — order numbers, products purchased, order status, membership status. Used to deliver what you bought, keep your purchase history and honour refunds. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
- Support messages — the content of emails or WhatsApp messages you send us. Used to answer you. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- Product usage and analytics — page and product views, share actions, download events, referring page, approximate device/browser information and IP address. Used to understand which products resonate, detect abuse and improve the platform. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Reviews you submit — your rating, review text and display name. Used to publish reviews after moderation. Legal basis: consent, by choosing to submit.
Card and billing details are collected and processed by our payment provider — we never see or store your full payment card information.
3. Who we share data with
- Merchant of Record — Paddle.com, which handles the sale, payment processing, subscription management, invoicing and tax compliance for our orders, and handles refunds and billing enquiries.
- Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database and file storage, authentication, email delivery and analytics tooling that operate the platform on our behalf under contract.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting and tax advisers where necessary.
- Authorities — where we are required to disclose by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside Lesotho, including in the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account, order and entitlement data for as long as your account exists and for as long afterwards as we need it for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Analytics events are retained in aggregated or limited form. Support messages are kept while relevant. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests or withdraw consent at any time. Email lehatledistributions@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls, row-level database security so that your records are only readable by you, and time-limited signed links for product downloads. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data as if it were our own.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to operate checkout. We also record limited analytics events to understand product interest. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though signing in will not work without the essential ones.
9. Children
Our products are intended for adults and for business use. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the revised version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by email where appropriate.
